Skippy White's last day in Central Square

After 25 years, Skippy White’s closed Saturday, May 20. 25 years—but our friend Florence swears Skippy was already around when she was a kid—and she’ll be 70 “pretty soon.” According to Manager Phyllis Harris (pharris985@aol.com), Skippy White’s in Egleston Square, Roxbury will continue to serve the people with unmatched knowledge of and access to the nation’s R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Reggae music traditions.
