NORFOLK, Neb. — Authorities have arrested a man following a physical disturbance between him and a woman.
Norfolk Police Division said it was called to the 400 block of Hastings Avenue for the physical disturbance on Friday, June 3 at around 8:45 p.m.
NDP officers said they found the man near 5th Street and Hastings Avenue.
Officials identified the man as Maurice Taylor, 58, from Norfolk.
The NDP said they later found the woman near the residence.
She allegedly told officers that she was hit in the head by Taylor multiple times as they drove to their residence.
Authorities said once the two men returned home, the assault continued to occur outside the home.
NPD said the woman’s left ear was red and her entire face was flushed.
Apparently, two other people witnessed the assault at the residence and provided information to responding officers.
NDP officers said Taylor was questioned about the incident.
