Delhi’s deputy chief minister, accused of breaking alcohol policy, has alleged that Narendra Modi’s regime was using the CBI and ED to settle scores with Arvind Kejriwal’s government.

On Sunday, the CBI had issued a lookout against Sisodia and others named in the case, barring their travel abroad.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was named among 14 others in a CBI alcohol policy violation case, sought on Monday August 22 to find out why the Center was silent on alleged violations of excise policy in BJP-ruled Gujarat.

Sisodia claimed that he had received an offer from the BJP to join the saffron party and “break” the AAP, and that all his files would be closed.

“BJP message has reached me – break “AAP” and join BJP, all CBI ED cases will be closed. My response to BJP – I am a Rajput, a descendant of Maharana Pratap. I will cut off my head, but I will not bow down to corrupt conspirators. All the cases against me are false. Do what you want to do,” Sisodia tweeted on Monday.


Speaking to the BJP, Sisodia told a news channel, “They don’t care about fraud in excise policy, otherwise they would have probed corruption in BJP-ruled Gujarat first. where excise tax evasion of 10,000 crore occurs every year. Thousands of people die there after consuming toxic alcohol.

“A BJP leader first alleged ₹8,000 crore fraud and then another leader claimed ₹1,100 crore fraud. Now they are alleging a scam of ₹144 crore but they will find nothing as there was complete transparency in the liquor policy implementation,” he added.

Party leader Aam Aadmi also reiterated his allegation that the BJP was abusing central agencies against Arvind Kejriwal’s government in New Delhi because of the “commendable” work it is doing in the education and health sector. health, whose achievements have been praised both at home and abroad.

Comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kejriwal, Sisodia said that while the latter strives to improve health care, education and create more jobs, the former only cares about launching raids on political rivals with the help of ED and CBI.
