Authorities have issued an update on road and transport disruptions across Sydney and parts of NSW as flooding continues.

From Muswellbrook to Denman, Denman Road has reopened but motorists should continue to exercise caution.

Bulga to Colo Heights – Putty Road is closed between Wambo Road and Colo Heights Road due to flooding and a landslide.

Whittingham – the Golden Highway is closed between the New England Highway and Range Road.

Gillieston Heights to Cliftleigh – Main Road/Cessnock Road is closed between Redwood Drive and Avery Lane.

Tomago – Tomago Road is closed between Old Punt Road and Masonite Road.

There is heavy southbound traffic on the New England Highway approaching Singleton due to water on the toad. Slow northbound condition re in place for heavy vehicles

Northbound light vehicles depart from the freeway via York Street and John Street.

Many other local roads remain closed.

Central Coast & Newcastle Line – trains are not running between Cardiff and Fassifern/Wyong due to flooding.

Hunter Line – trains are not running between Newcastle Interchange, Scone and Dungog due to flooding on the tracks at Sandgate.

From Wallacia to Mulgoa, Mulgoa Road has reopened in both directions,

In Vineyard, Windsor Road has also reopened.

Heathcote to Lucas Heights – all westbound lanes of Heathcote Road are closed between Princes Highway and New Illawarra Road. The eastbound lanes of Heathcote Road are open.

Windsor – The Windsor Bridge is closed between Wilberforce Road and George Street. Sections of Wilberforce and Pitt Town roads are also closed.

North Richmond – Richmond Bridge is closed in both directions.

Yarramundi – The Yarramundi Bridge is closed in both directions.

In the Royal National Park – Audley Weir is closed in both directions.

Western Line-limited T1 buses replace trains between Schofields and Richmond due to flooding.

T5 Cumberland Line – Trains will not run. Change at Granville to continue on your way.

T7 Olympic Park Line – Buses replace trains between Olympic Park and Lidcombe

Blue Mountains Line – limited buses are replacing trains between Katoomba and Mount Victoria due to a landslide near Mount Victoria.

F3 Parramatta River Services – alternative transport is underway between Parramatta and Rydalmere due to overflow from the Parramatta weir.

Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands

Jamberoo – Jamberoo Mountain Road is closed in both directions near The Abbey.

South Coast Line – Buses replace trains between Port Kembla and Wollongong, and between Kiama and Wollongong.

Charmhaven – the Pacific Highway is closed at Wallarah Creek Bridge.
